So sad, rest in peace Jannie! The next generation of Motocross riders will now only be able to hear of the legend that was, Jannie Stander. Having taught our countries finest riders, in both superbike and motocross segments, you have most certainly left a big mark in the sport and a scar is now left on all of us who knew you, we will NEVER forget you!

This is so bad. Where shall we hide from the bad hearted people. Let us hide ourselves into the hands of God thru Jesus. May the love of God over shadow his family thru the Name of Jesus, Amen

This is terribly sad. This is unacceptable! No one should be allowed to take an innocent life! We can not accept this as the norm in this country any longer!

Very sad and a damning indictment of the rampant crime in this beautiful land. My condolences to Jannie’s family. I bought my Kawasaki 500 Mach III from his dad when Jannie Snr owned Racing Motors in dowtown Johannesburg.
RIP Jannie
